We proudly present the Black Oak Series!

The origin and therefore the sustainability of tropical woods is almost impossible to trace.
We developed the Black Oak Series to offer great tones and the dark, sublime looks you would expect from tropical woods but in a sustainable way.

Built from native oak, these instruments get their color from smoking the wood with ammonia which reacts with the tannic acid in the wood and colors it dark while enhancing the tonal qualities at the same time.
They come standard with Bareknuckle Pickups and Schaller hardware and are available with 6, 7, 8 or more strings and a variety of scale lengths.
